Philosophy

The Swiss Leading Hospitals require an approach to quality improvement that is systematic, continuous, organization-wide and that covers all aspects of performance and supports innovation. In order to become SLH member, an organization must have applied a TQM Model (e.g. EFQM) and is highly recommended being ISO certified.

The shared principles of the SLH are:
  • excellent care and treatment and outstanding medical services through excellently trained staff in all areas
  • state-of-the-art medical equipment and facilities
  • premium hospitality and maximum individuality in patient care
